Oh what I would give just to find someone whom I can share this passion of food for!!!! Of good food and the Nectar of Gods, such perfect combinations to ease the troubled soul that is truly ours!! If only everyone can appreciate how complex food is...How the pairing of what most of us view as basic fuel, just the right ingredients....just the right quantity..at the right hands..the work of ART!!! In this small world that I live in, it is indeed such a sad thing that many don't share my enthusiasm. Where is the passion in life?? To appreciate food is to appreciate life!! To taste the juiciness and velvety texture of a well gratinated lobster!! The fulfilling, satisfying feeling of having a piece of medium rare sirloin in your mouth!!! What ever can replace that, I wonder?? Yes, indeed...what?? And the exquisite wines that Mother Nature provides us! How else are we going to match wonderous food if not with the Nectar of the Gods!! White/red; Sweet/sour;Woody or fruity; u name it! Why else has God created such numerous grape varieties if not for the purpose of making wine!!! I say, we should all just learn to relax once in a while. Indulge in something just for yourself! And if pampering at the spa is not good enough for you, there is nothing that a rich, creamy cheesecake can't do! ;)
